China is trying to establish itself as a hub for international service outsourcing and it is expected to open up new sources of foreign investment for the country. China is in the process of encouraging multinationals to outsource from China.
Already China is favored by multinational’s overseas research and development and they could build on it in order to offer a variety of outsourced services. China has an estimated four million graduates who could cater to the needs of the outsourcing industry.
China is in the process of restructuring its industry and the outsourcing industry could turn out to be attractive for it. China with its population strength, infrastructure and low costs has all the strengths to become an outsourcing hub.
