Beware India!! China which is considered to be world’s factory floor is now all set to turn into an international powerhouse and would certainly be offering challenges to all the leaders in outsourcing such as India and Philippines. China is already preferred by MNCs for manufacturing and R&D and it could certainly emerge as a favorite destination for outsourcing.
This would be made possible by the four million graduates in China which enter the workforce each year and provide a big pool of talent for high end industry outsourcing. China By investing in services outsourcing, China wants to restructure its low end manufacturing economy.
India is already facing problems with regards to rising costs and this could certainly be exploited by China which is known for producing cost efficient products.
