Expect the drugs which up till now were tested on people in the western world to be tested on people living in countries such as China, Russia or India. Major pharma companies are now hunting for destinations outside their countries in order to conduct human trials that are necessary for developing new drugs.
It would be easier and cost effective for them to conduct trials in these countries. A number of countries have already moved their testing destination outsides United States.
This makes me fear that these developing destinations do not emerge as a breeding ground for these trials and use people as guinea pigs. I hope these countries would come out with a proper policy to avoid being exploited by these big sharks.
