Everybody who wants to outsource is turning to India. It seems that Google is also ready to climb the outsourcing bandwagon. Google is on a lookout for writers from India to compete in the Google Wordmasters Challenge to be held on 30th September and one could win prizes and also meet the Google team.
I came across this on website of google:
Google is looking for writers who choose their words carefully and relish the spirit of competition.
If you have a clear, concise style and can use words to inform and persuade consumers, we would like to hear from you. We are looking for exceptional individuals to join the Google team in India, and we’re organising a contest - the Google Wordmasters Challenge - to find and reward India’s best writers. The contest will be judged by a panel of respected professional writers.
Besides a chance to meet the Google team, winners and runners-up will receive cool awards. Think you have what it takes? Take the Google Wordmasters Challenge. Register now by filling out the form to the left.
And hurry. The contest is open only to the first 300 participants, so the sooner you enter, the better. The deadline for entries is 25th September 2006.
The contest will take place on Saturday 30th September 2006, at 11am.
This makes me wonder whether Google is searching for writers to outsource its AdWords ads copywriting to India.
