Here is another example of wastage of India’s pool of talent under the guise of software outsourcing. Tata Consultancy Services or TCS would be recruiting more than 30,000 engineering graduates who would be working as what we call ‘cyber coolies’ on their outsourced projects. In the name of software exports these engineers would be required to perform lowest level of data management work and in return the company would rake in moolah.



As per S Ramadurai, CEO and MD, TCS, more than thirty thousand new recruitments would be made worldwide and has requested Indian engineers to hone their software, language and multi disciplinary skills in order to stay miles ahead of others.



Unfortunately what a waste of talent in the name of outsourcing!!
