A survey states that the global outsourcing market might have crossed its peak. As per outsourcing advisors, TPI, a drop was witnessed in the value of the contracts in the first three quarters of this year.
The worldwide revenues from outsourcing in the year 2006 are expected to be one percent lower as compared to the last year figures. It is expected that IT outsourcing would fall by 3.6% but BPO is expected to rise by ten percent.
It is being said that the growth in BPO and decline in ITO are realted. It has been seen that as organizations put more and more processes in the hands of third parties they don’t require associated infrastructure and therefore less IT is outsourced.
