As per a survey of hundred global CIOs conducted, IT decision makers are moving to multi vendor outsourcing. Forty five percent of the respondents favored using multiple vendors in order to competitively distribute specific project requirements. Just around seventeen percent were interested in using single provider for their global assignments.
The survey also stated that ninety four percent of the respondents wee increasing their outsourcing budget whereas sixty five percent indicated their increases ranging from five percent till thirty five percent.
Though cost savings was still an issue in selecting an outsourcing partner but for thirty three percent of the respondents’ quality of service was a major concern.
