Arvind Thakur, CEO, NIIT Technologies states that Australian companies would have to engage offshore technology providers in order to counter falling population growth. Australia is already facing challenges in form the form of population problems but already has a good record in design skills and high level project management.



He further stated that sending of management tasks and coding overseas was inevitable. . He also said that work would happen where one could get good quality and that too cost effectively.



Most of the Australian companies are not aware how they would be able to grow through outsourcing and still are not comfortable with it. In the long run Australia would have to opt for outsourcing as its declining population would act as a prohibiting factor in its growth.
