It seems that things have come to a full circle now. The days when outsourcing European/ British/ American firms tended to snort about the fact that there was an Indian on the other side have now gone by. These firms pretended that they had not received a satisfactory response just to derail the off-shoring trend.

Times have changed now, now it is the Indian call center experts that are training the British workers as to how to manage message-handling services. Initially it was the British firms that used to outsource jobs to India, now look at the change of events with the largest company in the subcontinent making an announcement that it is planning to develop two call centers in Northern Ireland. ICICI OneSource, which is a back-office service specialist, intends to strengthen its operation in Britain and take on the UK-based rivals on their own soil.
