In a recent development, the European parliament has given an approval to a directive meant for allowing IT outsourcers and other services companies for operating freely across Europe. This is being done in order to cut down on red tape and create legal certainties for firms which conduct business outside.
The directive would hopefully get the approval next month and would come into affect from 2010. Though it’s good news for companies but some feel that giving a free hand to them would have a negative affect on the wages and working conditions of the employees but people backing this directive stated that the decision would lead to the creation of more jobs and Europe’s GDP would certainly grow.
Now it needs to be seen what effect it would have on the overall economy but in my opinion a bit of control is still required.
