Some encouraging thoughts from the CEO of Microsoft, Steve Ballmer- ‘Outsourcing is here to stay.’ These thoughts were stated at the Fifth Madhav Rao Scindia Memorial lecture. He stated that the dependence of countries would increase over India for outsourcing and therefore it is here to stay. He further stated that outsourcing was beneficial for the American economy.
He also said:
With the US government making it more difficult for people to come into the US from outside, it puts in pressure on companies like ours to relatively grow our talent pool in India even faster.
He also mentioned that there had been a remarkable change towards outsourcing since the last year. These words certainly hold value as they have come from the mouth of one of the stalwarts of the software industry and would certainly do well for the Indian outsourcing industry.
