It is expected that the output value of Dalian’s software industry would exceed RMB40 billion and export figures would cross the figures of $1.5 billion by the end of the eleventh five year plan.
In the year 2005 Dalian garnered more than RMB10 billion from sales of software which represents an increase of forty three percent as compared to the same period in the previous year. Software exports also saw a jump by fifty percent year on year and the export value reached the figures of $300 million.
