A recent survey in outsourcing industry says that half of the European companies have not planned their outsourcing and now they are struggling to manage their IT outsourcing relationships. Although some of the major companies have agreement with four or more partners but most of them are struggling to manage multiple IT outsourcing relationships.
In the long run this could turn out to be risky as dependency on one source could cause problems in the long run. Companies are still not trying to use their resources efficiently in order to find out options for planning and management of multiple outsourcing relationships.
