As per a research by the Institute of Directors, a number of SMBs are bringing parts of their IT back in house due to widespread dissatisfaction over the outsourced approach. Now these businesses are preferring hybrid approach i.e. retaining a help desk at the local office and outsourcing remaining tech functions to service providers.
Hybrid outsourcing was catching up as users have got fed up of speaking to call centers in India and are looking for some local help. As per a member research conducted by the IoD, around a quarter of SMEs are now operating a hybrid IT department which has jumped the figures of one percent two years ago.
Eight five percent of the SMEs said that technology was important for their company to grow and with regards to their investment said that technology was responsible for boosting worker’s productivity.
