If you are a coffee lover then you would certainly be knowing Starbucks. This major coffee chain has entered into an outsourcing contract with Unisys for supporting its global expansion plans from the present figures of 3,600 outlets to more than 20,000 outlets around the globe.
Under the terms of the agreement the company would be simplifying the deployment and management of IT infrastructure services in all the manufacturing premises, support centers and outlets of Starbucks.
Besides this the company would also be offering enhanced support to data center services, equipment procurement and global program management of Starbucks. Unisys would also be providing IT security services to North American outlets of Starbucks.
