Swaziland is no mood to outsource sugarcane production from other countries. Executive Director of the Swaziland Cane Growers Association Zakes Nkosi feels that the country is able to do it in much more efficient way. He feels that it’s important to chalk out a comprehensive strategy about how more international markets can be won and thus expand the present structure to a new level. Outsourcing production services can not be a solution. To meet the economic demand, he says, production have to be more.

While partially agreeing with Zakes Nkosis’ comment, Stuart Hulley from the Swaziland Sugarcane Management says in terms of sugarcane processing the country is lacking in

technological resources.
