As per a research undertaken by Vanson Bourne, half of UK IT directors are unsure about their grasp of outsourcing compliance issues such as TUPE whereas in the case of IT directors in the financial sector and retail and logistics industries the figures are 36% and 38% respectively.
Another factor is company size. 57% of IT leaders in larger companies with more than three thousand employees were positive about compliance awareness as compared to 47% of IT directors in smaller company.
