As per reports the U.K government has stated that outsourcing of NHS logistical arm is beneficial. Andy Burnham, health minister stated that outsourcing could help in lowering the costs by around fourteen percent. As per a deal, NHS Logistics would be operated by a private sector company.
Though Mr. Burnham fully supported the private sector but Tony Blair stated that the private sector had a limited role to play in NHS. Outsourcing has been quite successful in Britain and a number of companies out there are shifting to outsourcing in order to save their bucks. Also outsourcing could help a company in improving its ability and capacity for taking up new work.
