U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan plans to propose to the United Nations member states to consider outsourcing some administrative services, including translation, payroll and other services to China.

The report which is expected to come out on Tuesday however does not contain a full fledged proposal for the outsourcing. The outline of the report has pointed out the expansion of U.N. operations through out the past decade.

“The report contains some indicative figures for a buyout - costing approximately $100,000 per individual,” the outline said.
